以前、子どもの群れがより強い母親に吸収合併されていく海外のカモをテレビで見たことがある。でもあれはカワアイサではなかったと思う。記事中でも真相は明らかになっていない。カワアイサの母親は自分の子どもを背中にのせる姿が有名だが、さすがに76羽はのせられないよな。
